Right now it's smoothies! We just bought a Magic Bullet blender and we're going smoothie crazy!

Our diabetes centre - The Charles H Best Centre in Brooklin has been our number one resource. They are incredible! I also go on the Blogs on the internet, Beta Buddies is my favourite.

What question would you ask everyone who lives with Type 1 diabetes?

Just to gather more information. The more I know about diabetes, the healthier Jake is.

Has your child attended a diabetes camp? If so, which camp? If they enjoyed it, please tell us more about their experience.

Not yet. We'd like to send him one year but we camp a lot and it's hard to fit it in.

What is your favorite type of family vacation? Do you have any tips managing diabetes on vacation?

We love Disney and this year we're going on a cruise. We've camped a lot since his diagnosis but we haven't gone on a 'formal' trip.
