Ava our daughter.. shes almost five now and been our lil comedian since before she could talk!

Our favorite activity would be swimming and having fires, just being together.

Favorite Meal
Our favorite meal would be hot dogs, mac salad all cook out foods because we love cooking on the grill and having picnics. Snack would be pepperoni cheese n crackers.
Helpful Resources
Diabetic Resource Institute has helped a lot and Joslin Diabetes Center and family. My tip would be to accept it, and realize its just a new way of life. Be educated and talk about it with someone. It will be hard for your child to cope well with this diagnosis if they see the parents aren't.

Vacation
The beach.. listening to the waves crash and watching everyone having fun.. my tip for vacation, temperature can effect blood sugar so always travel with extra snacks and you're insulin.
