What Makes You Laugh:
My kids are always good for a laugh. As a family we enjoy playing board games and Wii playoffs. And we are always up for a good funny movie.
Favorite Sports Team:
I have coached Soccer for the last few years, and I really enjoy. Both of my kids have played for years. My son's biggest thing right now is 4-H Shooting Sports
What Helps You Get Through:
Taking a moment to realize that sometimes its okay for things to wait, so I can take a breath
Favorite Meal:
 McDonald's Ice Cream...sometimes the kids and I decide we want an ice cream cone before bedtime and its good and inexpensive....
Helpful Resources:
The JDRF regional chapter has been very helpful with information and introducing us to other families living with children with Diabetes. To other parents I would say NEVER be afraid to ask questions, and it is hard at times it is good to get in contact with as many others in your situation because only another parent of a diabetic can understand what you are going through and just knowing you are not alone makes a world of difference. Also, it is okay to get angry at times...not at your child, but at the disease, we are not perfect but must do all we can for our children.

I am always concerned with how they are doing with their BS and A1C. Maybe see if they have new information they would like to share that we haven't though of

Vacation:
We don't usually travel far from home. Just make sure you research restaurants etc. ahead of time for Carb information and double stock supplies just incase.
