Myself and Diabetes camp! Victorville is a small town. After using the internet reading and networking through JDRF and Childrenwithdiabetes.com I learn my son needed a medical team and I was able to use the information to have our HMO send our son to a children's hospital

Question for Everyone
Are you thinking about health care/insurance once your child turns 18.
Diabetes Camp
 Camp Conrad- Chonnock. My son work as a counselor this year! He started camp at 13 and when he return he open up about diabetes. Camp teaches our children and teens such important information and the friendships are for life.
Vacation
The beach! My tip is have extra juices, snacks, insulin on hand and even a copy of medical records.

What Do You Think
I started a non profit called the Diabetic Youth Crew in our area. I have over 100 families. I've recommend your website. My foundation provides meet ups, camp scholarships, gas vouchers to get to the doctors, etc. Google Stephanie Rimbach about my work : ) My picture is my son with the kids he took care of at camp. I do not have a family picture on this computer.
