Who or what makes your family laugh?

When Emma is happy right now. She has been a trooper through this. From day one she has said that God is taking care of her.

 

What is your favorite sports team? or activity?

Tennessee Vols. Going to the beach and the lake.

What helps you get through the day?

Our faith helps us get through the day. This is tough and we could not do it alone.

What is your favorite meal or snack? Why?

Chocolate. I guess it is because she is limited to the amount she can have.

What resources have been useful since diagnosis? Please share a tip you think would be helpful for other parents.

The internet. I love reading other stories. It is encouraging to see how other families are not letting this disease win.

What question would you ask everyone who lives with Type 1 diabetes?

Do you know if they are coming out with a patch pump kit soon?

What is your favorite type of family vacation? Do you have any tips managing diabetes on vacation?

We just got back from Hilton Head with my two sisters and their children and my mom. It let us know that we can have some what of a normal vacation.
