 Knowing I have my family to come home to helps me make it through the day.

The best resource we have found so far is the Calorie King book. We carry it with us everywhere.

My question I ask is how they found out they were diabetic and how it effects their lives today

We love to go to the drag races and have gone to many out of town. We always take all of our supplies with us everywhere we go and have not had any problems managing the diabetes so far
What Do You Think
I think diabetes stinks and can't wait for the day they find a cure. We donate as much as we can and try to stay involved with JDRF as much as possible. We live kind of in the "country" so we are pretty far from anyone else who has diabetes and JDRF has been our best resource for finding other families to talk to about the diabetes.
