Helpful Resources
The first book I received after my son's diagnosis was The Complete Guide to Diabetes from American Diabetes Association. The insulin pump made a huge difference in quality of life for our son and the family. A helpful tip is to stay on top of the knowledge of diabetes. Keep reading and studying to keep your mind always in gear and ready for anything that happens. Never assume that if something bad has not happend so far that it probably won't. It will when you least expect it - be ready!
