Billy Tully Sr. Mar 17, 2010 (2 years ago)I'am Sydney's PaPa Billy. Sydney will light up any room she enters. Her MaMa and Daddy are always teaching her about her diabetes, she is so blessed to have two parents who are willing to do whatever is required for her. Her big sister Grace is always looking out for her too. Sydney also takes her role as big sister to Trevor very serious. The perfect family to emulate.

Terri Knox Mar 16, 2010 (2 years ago)Like everyone who has commented before me - Sydney is one sharp little girl and as sweet as they come. I am her great aunt (mother's side) and always have a wonderful time visiting with the Andrews family. Amy and Alan are awesome parents and it is always a joy to be around them and their children.

Derek Smid Mar 16, 2010 (2 years ago)Way to go. Type 1 is serious but something you can live with. Just ask my wife Rebecca. I haven't gotten to see Sydney at her sister's gymnastics in a while, but I always loved how up-beat she was. Way to go girl...

Becky Russ Mar 16, 2010 (2 years ago)I am Sydney's Great Aunt. Sydney amazes me at her maturity and knowledge. She really is a trooper with her disease. I never hear her complain. I am also proud of her parents and grandparents who have shared in taking care of her, seeing she gets the attention she needs while making it possible for her to be a normal active 5 year old child. Sydney is such a joy to be around as well as her sister Grace and baby brother Trevor.

Vickie Heydenreich Mar 16, 2010 (2 years ago)I am a family friend and Sydney is just awesome. I have been a Type 1 diabetic for more than 35 years and I am very impressed with the way Sydney and her family accept and deal with this disease. Parents have so much mmore available to them today than what my parents had when I was diagnosed. Also diabetes, is no longer looked upon as the "dread sugar disease"! Sydney and I have the same purple pump and we compare all the time!! Way to go Andrews family. She is one very lucky little grl!!

Della Hattery Mar 16, 2010 (2 years ago)I AM SYDNEY'S GRANNIE. She will tell you all about her pump. She can check her blood, remove her site to bath or swim. She is now putting her carbs in the pump, and not quite 6!!! She will turn down anything that may have wheat and explain why she can't have it. No problem, she accepts all this without a fuss. It is just who she is! My favorite line was when she was being questioned for Pre-K. The teacher ask something about being thirsty and at 3 yrs+ she stated you were dehydrated!! Mom and Dad are great teachers and supporters. She also has a Big Sister grace that supports her and is learning all about the pump, carbs and glute!!! I am Proud of the Andrews Family!!
