Wendy Hildebrandt Mar 16, 2010 (2 years ago)I don't know if it gets "easier" but you just learn to adjust in ways that make life for you and your child a "new normal". The first year is the hardest though...cuz its such a shock and a huge learning curve. Give it time, and just give yourself some love too -- sometimes as parents of diabetic children we do put too much pressure on our selves.
