Sparkling Essence

With type 1 diabetes, our kids don’t have as much freedom as others to drink and eat food and beverages with ingredients such as high fructose corn syrup or other additives that could cause their blood glucose levels to spike. So I get excited when I find a beverage that doesn’t contain those ingredients, or artificial sweeteners. It’s great when the kids can grab a drink and not think twice about popping the top.
