I have two wonderful little girls who amaze,fascinate, delight and frustrate me daily. Before I became a mom I was a full time registered nurse. Life is going by at lightening speed. I'm just trying my utmost to take it all in, do the best I can, learn what I'm meant to learn and give my girls the very best start I possibly can. We have two nine year olds with Type 1. JoJo was diagnosed at four and Nick was 6. You would think that's plenty of time for extended family members to understand or even educate themselves. Years later that just isn't the case. But I have all of you--we're in this together. Read More »
