My 8 year old daughter was diagnosed this last Memorial Weekend. I know she has Type 1, but still question it at times too. I'm sure that might be normal too, who knows. But her last A1C at her 3 month was 5.7, and the doctor said that's where a "normal" person is supposed to be. Then I get her urine checked at the doctor for an infection, and the doctor seemed surprised that there wasn't any trace of sugar in her urine. Is this normal? I guess I'm just not satisfied yet, even though I'm sure she has it. Thanks!
